Circle H Retreat & Glass Art Center was established in 2008 to fulfill my artistic dream of having
my own glass blowing studio and a passion to create beautiful glass. It turns out this special place
brings out the Toltec (Artist) in everyone who enter these doors. You may get a small sense of the
energy and beauty from the photos I have taken and posted on this website.
I am thankful everyday I wake up in this sanctuary. I have to say my dream has been filled beyond
what I could have ever imagined. My passion in glass has now taken a new step and I am thankful
to have had my own studio, let alone at this beautiful place.
The lodge is surrounded in natures beauty. Looking North to South at the Continental Divide and
sitting on the waters edge of Colorado's second largest body of water Lake Granby, only 10 miles
from the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park.
When you enter our doors your heart and spirit soar. The expression "Oh my God, I had no idea",
is a common statement. We've had visitors from around the world and they all leave emotional with
appreciation and joy to have discovered this beautiful place.
The mission, when we took over the Circle H was to promote a glass art center, building an
awareness to glass artists, students & teachers. With the struggles of our timing in taking over the
lodge in 2008 we found we didn't have or find the financial means needed to support and develop
this part of the dream.
With a transition by the end of January 2012 I will search for a new location to set up studio and
focus on my glass technique and creations without pursuit of a center. Including, plans to attend
more classes to expand myself as a glass artist.
I will continue with the same love, passion, and energy about life and glass as I move into the next
phase of my life. It is hard to find words to describe what it feels like to know your passion and live it,
no matter the environment or economics of a starving artist.
